Cash Reserves — Original 1/1 $2 Currency Artwork
Money moves fast. This one isn't going anywhere.
GONE IN A (Flash) combines American currency, comic-book culture and the mixed-media visual language of Stanley Millz.
Created on a genuine uncirculated US $2 bill, the central speedster character is individually created using mixed media techniques, introducing intense reds and dark graphic detailing against the muted engraving of the original note.
The underlying currency hasn't been hidden.
The serial numbers, seals, signatures, denomination marks and intricate banknote engraving remain visible around the artwork, deliberately keeping the identity of the $2 bill intact.
That contrast is what makes the piece work.
Official monetary design beneath an unofficial cultural icon.
Government-issued currency underneath intervention.
Part of the Cash Reserves series, FAST MONEY turns a functioning piece of currency into an object whose value can no longer be defined by the number printed in its corners.
This artwork is a genuine 1/1 original.
The design will not be repeated on another bill and will never be followed by replica editions or limited-edition prints of the finished artwork.
One physical piece exists.
That's it.
The artwork is supplied in its custom Cash Reserves presentation insert and arrives unframed.
The black frame pictured is not supplied. If preferred, the artwork can be removed easily from the insert and mounted or framed separately.
