This Public Issue piece takes the familiar visual language of the US dollar and crashes it directly into cult cinema, street culture and contemporary illustration.
 
The character stretches across all three genuine uncirculated bills, turning a traditionally formal piece of currency into a much larger composition. The original banknote engraving remains clearly visible underneath, allowing the work to retain the unmistakable identity of money while becoming something completely removed from its intended purpose.
That tension is at the heart of Stanley Millz currency work.
 
Currency is the canvas. Culture is the message.
 
Every bill used for the original artwork forms part of the finished piece. This isn't artwork printed to resemble money and it isn't a decorative reproduction of a banknote. The underlying currency is genuine.
 
The result is a physical object that sits somewhere between art, currency, collectible and cultural artefact.
And once it's gone, it's gone.
 
This artwork is one of one. The image will not later be released as another original, a replica, or a limited-edition print.

The piece is supplied inside a Stanley Millz Public Issue presentation insert, allowing it to arrive looking like a finished collector object even without conventional framing.
It is supplied unframed.
If you prefer a traditional frame, the artwork can easily be removed from the insert and professionally mounted or framed however you choose. Nothing forces the collector into one presentation style.
