DEAD PRESIDENTS is Stanley Millz at his most direct.
Created by hand on genuine uncirculated US currency using premium acrylic paint, the artwork transforms the familiar dollar into the statement:
DEAD PRESIDENTS MEMBERS CLUB.
The original banknote remains visible inside the lettering, allowing presidential portraits, engraving, denomination markings and security details to become part of the message itself.
It's a joke until you think about it.
People spend decades working for pieces of paper decorated with people who died centuries ago. Those pieces of paper determine where we live, what we own, what opportunities we receive and how society measures success.
Cash Reserves takes that system and puts it directly on the wall.
Every element of this artwork is created as an individual hand-painted original. It isn't digitally reproduced onto the note and it isn't part of a production run.
There is one.
There will only ever be one.
No duplicate original, replica or limited-edition print of the finished piece will be produced.
The artwork is supplied within a custom Cash Reserves presentation insert designed to make the piece feel complete even without conventional framing.
The black frame shown in the product photography is not included. The original artwork can be easily removed from the insert for a different presentation or bespoke frame.
